Vector Hack Festival
osmo/za, Ljubljana, SI
05 – 07 October 2018
Vector Hack is the first international festival devoted to experimental analogue vector graphics with a weeklong program beginning in Zagreb, Croatia on October 1st and ending in Slovenian capital Ljubljana on October 7th.
In Ljubljana we have hosted 8 lectures, 8 AV perfomances and 2 workshops.
Vector Hack allowed artists creating experimental audio-visual work for oscilloscopes and lasers to share ideas and develop their work together alongside a program of open workshops, talks and performances aimed at allowing young people and a wider audience to learn more about creating their own vector based audio-visual works.
We have gathered a group of over twenty participants all working in the field from a diverse range of locations including the EU, USA and Canada. Each participant brought a unique approach to this exiting field and it was a rare chance to see all this recent development, scattered aroung the globe come to one place within a single programme.
