ROSIŠČE °3 W/ CICADA [AR/CO] & SOFTWORLD [DE]

The collective Nimaš Izbire and Projekt Atol in collaboration with the Šum magazine, present the third and, for the time being, last planned meeting of Rosišče (Dew Point) before the project is buried in naphthalene. Rosišče is a series of intimate evenings of listening to exploratory sounds of experimental electronic music accompanied by atmospheric visual interventions, condensed over the course of a year into three sessions in osmo/za.

˗ˏˋ Cicada [live performance, AR/CO]
For the final meeting, we have put together our most plentiful programme to date: from Berlin, we are joined by Latin-American artists Precario (Josefina Maro) and Genosidra (Carlos Quebrada) with their collaborative performance Cicada. This collab is based on the use of robotic devices in the form of parasites, which burrow into the performer’s body and trigger various sound signals, the impact of which is transformed into monstrous gestures. These noisy parasites conduct a dialogue with the idea of amplifying minimal movement, proposing an invasive dynamic that, together with the body and its movements as a reaction, creates an integral discourse of the work.

˗ˏˋ softworld [dj set, DE]
After the performance, the reins will be taken by Berlin-based music producer and dj softworld, who, as the name suggests, likes to create velvety tracks in the weigthless ambient-pop style that has been buzzing among niche online music circles in recent years. Softworld is also the co-founder of one of the few manifestations of such music and culture, the charmlink event series, which takes place in various locations in Berlin, most notably the queer listening bar Kwia. In his own words, his sets try to tell stories of love, friendship and light.

˗ˏˋ The music event will be preceded by a talk with Vid Koprivšek, an artist active at the intersection of digital and physical media, contemporary painting and sculpture practices, computer graphics and intermedia installations. The discussion will be moderated by multimedia artist and graphic designer Dorijan Šiško, founding member of the Nimaš Izbire and Freštreš collectives.
