Join us for the first in a series of workshops happening throughout July and August, guided by food experience designer Fransisca Tan.
25 July 2025 | 5–7 PM @ Krater, Ljubljana
During the workshops, we will focus on community-oriented food practices, drawing connections between the rituals of food preparation and the creative process. Activities will unfold through field explorations, intimate research sessions, and hands-on workshops, culminating in a final presentation that invites participants to reflect on food not just as sustenance, but as a material for making, a metaphor for change, and a shared cultural language.
First workshop:
Food & Childhood: How to explore the spring of life through food?
The workshop is designed for the “inner child” in all of us! Participants of ALL ages are welcome, as long as you can follow guidance in English. If you’re unsure if this workshop is for you, please reach out to us, and Fransisca will be happy to advise.
This gathering will be divided into two parts. Starting with a Mini-Lecture: “Introduction into Neuroscience & Food: Sensory Foraging and our Default Mode Network,” exploring the science of how we experience food and our environment, followed by an Interactive Workshop on Sensory Foraging & Food Meditations, we’re we will do exercises and explore our surroundings with “eyes of a newborn baby”, engaging all senses.
