Simon Penšek

Bio

Simon Penšek (1988) is an academic composer, music producer and sound designer. He studied at the Ljubljana Academy of Music and the SAE Institute. As an academic composer, he has participated in many festivals both at home and across Europe. With his electronic contraptions he participated in EarZoom and Music Tech Festivals. As a composer or sound designer, he participated in two films, awarded the prestigious Vesna Award for Best Documentary and Best Feature Film. As a music producer, he collaborates with various Slovenian artists. He is the bass half of the art-pop band Bombyx Lori. In collaboration with the sculptor Anže Sever, he created numerous spatial-sound installations and experiments.
