Marko Damiš

Bio

Marko Damiš (1992, Maribor) works at the intersection of creative technologies, the market and art. His artistic work focuses on the relationship between technology and its users, artificial intelligence and generative/participatory storytelling, and the impact of devices on human perception and identity. He works in the field of intermedia arts, for which he was awarded a one-year residency at S+T+ARTS 2022 (Science, Technology & the ARTS) and invited to the residency Looking at the Same Water, of the Mediterranean Biennial in Izmir (Turkey) in 2023. With extensive experience in strategic communication, design and development, as a creative and entrepreneur, he collaborates with organisations from various sectors in the design of business and communication processes, graphic interfaces, corporate identities and brands, books, exhibitions, websites and apps, for which he was awarded two Brumen Foundation Awards for Excellent Slovenian Design.
