Simon Sellars

Bio

Simon Sellars is a writer and editor. His latest book, Applied Ballardianism: A Memoir from a Parallel Universe (Urbanomic, 2018), was described by The Guardian as “brilliantly written genre mashup, [..] a wonderfully original mix of cultural theory, literary exegesis, travelogue and psychopathological memoira.” Sellars also writes for websites, magazines, newspapers and magazines. Topics include digital culture, architecture, travel, urbanism, film, animation, music, sound design, and literature. He is the founder of the internationally acclaimed Australian festival of sound art Liquid Architecture. He lives in Melbourne.
